The Dim By command results in an incremental dimming of a lamp module. This is typically a small and direct reduction in brightness. Since the CP-290 does not really support this, it will do its best to dim the lamp to the desired level, changing to fully bright first and then dimming. The Dim By command is ignored by appliance modules and Socket Rockets.
